 Effie Kuriloff was the director of the Rocky Mountain Parent Participation Nursery School, formerly known as the Mission Co-operative Nursery School in San Francisco, California. She is the author of several stories which come from incidents and experiences during her 35+ year career as an educator. The film, The Tricycle Solution, features Effie and Rocky Mountain School, it's parents and children. Effie Kuriloff has presented workshops at many conferences and at schools throughout the U.S and has a devoted following of grateful parents and ex-children. Effie died in March of 2004, but at this web site you can read excerpts from her papers and books, and order copies of her writing and the films of her work.
